Can pixel-fox® be used with any conventional microscope?
Yes, as the camera that comes with the package features a standard C-mount thread. As long as your microscope has a photo tube with a C-mount adapter, the camera will fit. The adapter should ideally have an optical factor of 0.5x to 0.7x to ensure that it fits optimally on the camera chip (1/2“). Of course, pixel-fox® can be connected to all conventional endoscopes, macroscopes, objectives and other optical systems featuring a C-mount adapter, too.
